I left Metronidazole out of the fridge today, for about 11 hours. It was in a cool room and the bottle still felt a little cool when I got home. Is it still safe to use?

Most liquid metronidazole suspensions are compounded, and for the most part they are oil based suspensions. If this is the case for your bottle of metronidazole the main reason that refrigeration is recommended is to prevent bacterial contamination, not to preserve the medication. I think it will be safe to give Jack a dose, but you should plan to call either the compounding pharmacy or your vet in the morning to confirm that the medication is still effective.
