Hello, what is going on behind my 13 week old kittens ear? She had diarrhea last week we got medicine for, she has been acting totally normal since and her diarrhea is gone she is playful, obsessed with food, very friendly with us and our other cat, nothing strange at all. We just noticed this wierd dry skin tonight. Thank you!

These skin lesions look like bacterial or possibly fungal infection. Mites can be responsible for it as well. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. Hi. I would recommend getting it seen tomorrow. It appears to be a mild skin infection, but it is hard to really tell by these photos. This evening you could apply a very small amount of neosporin to the area once. Good luck.
