My new kitten has a scab on his paw and back. Should I worry?

Hi, We have a 14 week kitten. Today we noticed this one his front paw and a smaller one on his back. It could have been there before today but I haven’t looked at his paws very much (we’ve only had him for a week). Should we be concerned? Thank you

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Cannoli. If he is eating normally, playing and not limping then you can monitor him. If the lesions get bigger or spread to the other two paws, then he will need to see his veterinarian. If he is limping now, I would have him seen tomorrow. Otherwise, you can bring it up at his next vaccine appointment. He may have a scab from a previous wound. In the meantime, make sure that he is not licking or biting at the paws. I hope this information helps!
