Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. The normal gestation period in dogs is approximately 63 days from conception, although this can vary by several days. This will be around September 10th for Sparks. I hope this is helpful!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Dogs are pregnant for 60-63 days. If she only mated on 6/14 then she is due around 8/13-8/16. She could go a day or 2 earlier or even later. If she had other breeding dates then that extend the time frame. Write all the mating dates down. Have an X-ray done at your Vet around day 50 to see how many puppies will be born. Good luck!

The average length of pregnancy is 63 days. Keep in mind that it is never 100% sure that a dog will get pregnant after mating. I've put a couple of links to information that should be helpful to understand the mating process and pregnancy. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/breeding-for-pet-owners-estrus-and-mating-in-dogs https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/breeding-for-pet-owners-pregnancy-in-dogs I hope that helps.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! A dogs gestation period is 58-65 days. Sometimes only mating once is not enough to get pregnant. Also, we typically recommend waiting until the bitch is 2 years of age before breeding so their skeleton is fully mature. Good luck and kisses to Peaches!
