Why does my dog have crusty hives on legs after night walk, no fleas?

My bulldog cross has come out in hives the day after I took her for walk at night and have gone crusty mainly on legs and head can you help I’ve checked for fleas no sign. Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog (duplicate) | Female | unspayed | 11 years and 8 months old | 60 lbs
