My dog suffers from environmental allergies is is on apoqauel. He sometimes gets bumps and given antibiotics. It not the first time and on Wednesday took him to the vet again since he got these bumps again. The vet gave him cefabactin. But on Thursday, Friday and also today he had a few drops of blood in his pee. Contacted vet and she told be that it's because of the antibiotics and also told me to continue the antibiotics (10days). Do you think the drops of blood will stop. thanks alot

It is moree likely that the drops of blood are coming from an inflamed prostate or a UTI and are not caused by the antibiotic. The antibiotic actually should remedy any inflammation in the urogenital area that may be causing the bleeding. So please finish the course of antibiotics as your veterinarian directed. Should the bleeding not go away you will need to take your dog for a recheck.
