Is it normal for my dog to cry in pain during daily injections?

Hi the dog of my mother in law has to me injected daily but every time I give him the shot he cries is that normal ? Or I’m I hurting him? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male

Chihuahua are usually more sensitive to pain than most dogs, i'm not surprised he is crying with every injection,i'm not sure what you are injecting but you should make sure you are using the smallest needle possible.
