Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 42 lbs
I’ve been having this problem with my dog since he was a baby, he hates it when ppl don’t pay attention to him, whether we are at home or out, whether I keep him in the leash at home, we’ve tried everything, but he just keeps barking, pulling and biting. Do I just ignore him??

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would recommend using the gentle leader harness for the muzzle as it allows the most wonderful control of the head. I would highly recommend a trainer or working diligently with Gnocchi (GREAT name for a Corgi by the way) on the "look" and "leave it" command while using the gentle leader. If a few months of training doesn't help I would use a short-acting sedative or long acting anti-anxiety medications to help along with training. The goal of medicating wouldn't be forever but to gain control of the situation, so worse case a a year or so. I would also suggest castration if you are still struggling. Good luck!

Hi! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sheriff is very handsome! Yes!! The Gentle leader head collar is wonderful and life changing! It gives you complete control of the dogs head and face. It is not a muzzle. I highly recommend them for dogs that pull and are in training. I have a few other suggestions: I would contact your vet for anti-anxiety medications like Prozac for every day use and Trazadone for walks and social situations, which is short acting. It will make training even more successful. I would hope these are not life long medications but a few years. I would also recommend neutering him. Some dogs just need that for behavior reasons. I wish you the best!
