My new parrot has black poop. Should I be worried about coccinia?

I brought this parrot 2days ago and I feed Coccinia fruit as food now I have a doubt. My bird poop colour looks like black. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female

I would like to help you with your problem, however, in order to be able to help you with a feeding question I will need to know what kind of parrot he is and how old. Coccinia (Bimbi) alone might not be the proper food for your bird. Black feces point to digested blood, ie somewhere along the digestive track the blood is digested and so turns tarry in color. You will need to take your bird to an avian veterinarian for an exam. This could be from feeding coccinia, but could also have other causes.
