How to reduce excessive shedding & dander in my Chihuahua mix?

We rescued a Chihuahua mix dog who's about 6 years old. He sheds a lot and has dander. Is that his brewer's natural feature? What can we do about his excessive shedding? We brush him every day but we still end up with a ton of fur on our clothes and in our mouths. Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 6 years old | 15 lbs

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! I'd bath him monthly and continue the brushing. I would also add in an Omega 3 fish oil. Below are links to the brands I like.
