Hi, we’ve just adopted a 9 week old cat yesterday. She is limping and the paw she doesn’t put weight on shakes when she is being pet and tried to knead. Im really worried she has a broken leg

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Cat is super cute! Possible causes are: strain or a sprain, an infection or wound, torn toe nail, or a fracture. If she puts any weight on it at all I doubt it is broken. I would try to rest her: prevent jumping, running, etc by crating her. If the limp doesn't resolve or significantly improve make an appointment to have a Vet feel the leg and possibly take an X-ray. I hope this helps and I wish Cat a speedy recovery!
