My dog barks in new crate & pushes it when I leave. How to train?

I moved into my new place and recently bought a crate/fence for her for when I leave to work. I tried leaving her alone for 20 minutes and she wouldn't stop barking. She even pushed her way (while still in the cage) to the front door. I even gave her calming treats but that didn't seem to work either. What should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 6 months old | 20 lbs

Unfortunately, if Mia is not trained to be in a kennel, then being confined may be quite scary for her.
