My dog was hit by a car, conscious, bleeding from mouth. What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hello. How are you? I would like to know how you would examine and treat a small dog which has been involved in a car accident, was breathing, conscious, and bleeding slightly from the mouth? If you could explain the steps you would do, i would appreciate it very much. Thank you so much. Have a great day.

A dog that has been involve in a car accident needs to be checked professionally by a vet, it would not be responsible or even possible for me to start explaining to you how i would check him because it is complex and based on years of studying and experience. your dog will also most likely need to have an xray done to rule out internal organ damage. i strongly recommend taking him to the vet ASAP.
