What are the chances my puppy gets parvo after two vaccine rounds?

Hello! My 15 week old Pug puppy has had his first two rounds of DHP vaccines and will be getting his last round this week. What are the chances that he could still catch parvo? We just returned from a road trip to visit family through TX, LA, MS, and AL and while we watched him EXTRA carefully and made sure he was not near any dog poop, reading online has me paranoid! How susceptible is he after his second vaccine? Thanks!

If your puppy received his first round of parvo vaccine at around 8 to 9 weeks (looking at his age now with a due 3 round) then he should by now have already a good antibody titer.. The third round will tell his body to makee even more antibodies. After that he should be very well protected against parvo. No vaccination is 100% protective, because every puppy reacts differently to the vaccine. However, if your pup does not show any signs of lethargy, diarrhea and vomiting within the next few days, he will not have picked up parvo on the trip.
