My Mastiff is skinny, ribs and spine showing, but eats normally. Why?

I have a 7 year old female Mastiff and she has been skinny for a while now she eats normally and has a little bit of a tummy but you can see her spine and rib bones very clearly. I have 2 others and none of them look like this. What is it? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 17 years and 2 months old

Make sure you are feeding a good quality food and giving her as much as she wants to eat. Then I would check a stool sample for intestinal parasites. If she continues to lose weight a veterinary exam and lab tests to diagnose the reason are indicated. She is a senior dog and could have a heart problem or organ failure, or possibly cancer. These symptoms are general so an exam and testing are needed for a diagnosis. Once they know the reason then they can start the appropriate treatment.
