Dog giving birth: Should I move puppies or manage protective mom?

My dog is giving birth right now 5 got out thanks god safely but she didn’t finish yet should i take the pups until she finish or leave them to her and iam afraid because some times they go under her iam afriad they die or she sits on them what should i do and she doesn’t want any one to come near them she grawls. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 59 lbs

If she is taking care of them I would leave them with her. It may cause more stress if you take them away. She is getting aggressive over being a protective mom. Let her finish then you will need to start handling them to help her understand you are helping and giving them back so she gets comfortable
