My 12-year-old cat's blue eyes changed. Is it age or a health issue?

Hi. I am a bit concerned about my cat's eyes. He is 12 years old in generally good health. No troubles so far, but his eyes seem strange these days to me. His eyes were consistent blue but these aoreoles appeared a while ago. Is this due to his age or something is wrong with him? Thanks

This can be a sign of a systemic disease. The inflammation in the eye can be a serious problem that needs treatment. I recommend a veterinary exam and lab testing to diagnose the problem and start him on the appropriate treatment.
