My senior cat is throwing up. How can I help her at home affordably?

My 12 year old Calico cat has been throwing up very frequently and I don’t know why. I know it says I should go to a clinic if she is throwing up for no reason, but I just can’t afford that. I was hoping I could get some help in home remedies that could make my cat feel better and stop puking. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

You can change her food to a hypoallergenic or sensitive stomach formula such as science diet I/D. These are very bland and easy to digest. You can also get probiotics for cats to add to the food to help Sometimes vomiting can be from an infection, cancer or inflammatory bowel. Your vet can start testing for these thing if the above doesn’t help
