Dog won't eat unless I add egg. How to break this picky eating habit?

Question

my dog when he was 4-5 months old eats all kind of food,but now he adopted a habit of eating egg .now he only eats his food when i mix a boiled egg in his food,he just eat that food even i just add a little peice of an egg..so how to make him eat and change his habit??please help..!! Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 7 months and 18 days old

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Adding a bit of boiled egg to Max's food will not hurt him at all. If you want to stop this, then what you can do is add a bit of chicken broth to his food and skip the egg and see if he eats it without the egg. You can also try and switch to a completely different dog food and see if he likes the new food more than his current food. I hope this helps!
