Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 23 days old | 19.842 lbs

My puppy is pooping clear liquid and undigested food. Her poop is literally water maybe even less viscous. She survived parvo 3 weeks ago. She had been active and healthy ever since by now she is vomiting white foam and undigested food with it and pooped literally water. Help!!

I am so sorry to hear that Sweety isn’t feeling well. Certainly bacterial infectionor a parasitic infection could be possible. However I would most concerned about a problem called intussusception which is a serious problem where the intestines telescope on themselves and cause an obstruction. This can happen after a parvovirus infection. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian immediately. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. I am so sorry to hear about Demon. With these symptoms I would get him in to the vet right away. We would worry in a young puppy like this about parvo virus https://www.petcoach.co/article/parvovirus-serious-diarrhea-in-puppies-dogs/ which needs to be treated aggressively. The safest thing to do is have the vet examine and test him. We can see vomiting and diarrhea for other reasons in puppies but we always want to rule out parvo virus to be safe!
