Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 10 lbs
2 1/2 year old CKCS has stopped eating at weekends. When I am at work and he can sleep for 20-22 hours he eats and drinks and is full of beans in the evening. At weekends when i’m At home he becomes tired and grouchy after a couple of hours and won’t eat or drink. He becomes more disobedient and sulky as the day goes on. Vet says blood work is ok. What is wrong with him.

This is a very unusual problem, and I would urge you to work with your vet to look a bit deeper into things. It doesn't sound like a strictly behavioral issue, and it doesn't make sense for a normal young adult dog to stop eating completely on the weekends. At 10 pounds, he seems a bit underweight, and I would consider chest and abdominal radiographs to determine whether there could be an underlying problem that isn't easily detected with bloodwork. If those check out, you can consider getting him neutered, as his testosterone levels will definitely have an influence on his behavior and may be the root cause.
