My 4-year-old cocker spaniel is heaving and breathing inwards.

Question

i have a male, four almost five, year old cocker spaniel, and this week he's been heaving kind of strangely and breathing inwards. We took him to the vet a month ago, so im not sure what to do. Its not serious, just every once in a while. I just dont want to ignore the sign of something more serious. Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Male | neutered | 4 years and 8 months old | 30 lbs

If it was for the same problem that you took him to the vet previously and there has been no improvement, I would recommend pursuing further testing such as chest x-rays for further diagnosis to make sure that there is no evidence of heart disease or primary lung disease that would explain the abnormal breathing.
