Why is my chihuahua shaking head, scratching ear, and yelping?

Question

Hi my chihuahua keeps shaking his head like something is bothering him then he starts to scratch his ear upon doing so he starts to welp and squeal he then starts to bite the paw that he was scratching with. Been doing this now for a few hours he seems to be him self ect playfull. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 6 days old

I would recommend having Frank examined by a veterinarian. The vet can look into Frank's ear to make sure nothing is stuck in the ear canal and to see if there are signs of an ear infection.
