Why does my dog have weird skin and rashes on her belly and arms?

Hi there! I have a 1 year old female pitboxer mix, and her skin looks weird, kind of gross looking. When we got her a couple of months ago, i noticed it but thought the original owner shaved her for some weird reason and wasnt as bad. Now that she has gotten bigger, its more noticeable and it doesnt look or feel right to me seeing her skin and how its turning into rashes under her arms, belly and buttocks. I feel like she needs medicine but if you could give me a second opinion. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 40 lbs

This is not normal and i recommend a full exam and skin scrapes to identify the underlying nature of the condition. Allergic skin disease, food sensitivities and mites could all be present and each requires a very different treatment. In the meantime i recommend an omega fatty acid supplement which acts as both a natural antiinflammatory and moisturiser
