My puppy kinda barks more often than describe by the standard and is already 17 pounds but doesn’t look obese. Any tips? Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 17 days old | 15 lbs

There is no standard for barking- all dogs are individuals and some are more vocal or more easily bored out than others! Try to increase play time and use puzzle feeders and chew toys go help keep him occupied, remember to reduce his meals accordingly. It is difficult to assess his body condition score in the picture but he appears to be developing well and would be expected to be fully grown at 10-11months
