My dog has cellulitis. How long until his infected leg fully heals?

Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | 3 years and 9 months old

Trick has been diagnosed with cellulitis in his hind leg he started antibiotics and apoquel on Thursday his leg is less red but tendon sheaf is still thickened and lumpy the wound is still same he has to go back to vet Thursday if he is not more than 80% better by them how long before he should improve if he is going to

Cellulitis can take a long time to fully heal - sometimes up to a month or more. Occasionally, the infection is so bad that the inflamed tissue needs to be surgically removed. I would not be too worried yet if it's less than two weeks of treatment. Your vet will be able to give you a good idea on how well the condition is improving and if anything else is needed on his next recheck. I hope that helps and all is well with Trick.
