How much daily exercise do my older and adult dogs really need?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9 lbs

How much exercise should a dog have? My dogs are 12, 8 and 6 yr old.

It is recommended that dogs get at least 2 walks a day at 10-15 minutes each time. Of Course some dogs are very high energy and require much more activity. I hope this gives you an idea of how much to start with. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.

    That really depends on the breed, age, and personality of your dog. Some dogs need a lot more exercise than others. If you have a very active dog than you should probably take him/her on a couple walks a day for at least 30 minutes but if you have a small breed dog than he/she may not need that much exercise. You may also need to play with your dog off leash a few times a day, depending on the breed.

    2 walks of 15 minutes would be the minimum. Ideally at this age they should walk around 45 minutes - 1hours a day.
