My indoor puppy needs a Lepto vaccine. When and how many shots?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 month and 15 days old | 13 lbs

Is Lepto vaccine annually only? At how many weeks should I take him to get it so he only gets it once? He is an indoor pup.

That would depend on the brand of the vaccine but generally speaking it is done once a year, a part from the the first time that is usually repeated two times. He can have it at 9 weeks (first shot) which can be repeated at 12 weeks of age and then at 1 year.
