Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If Maverick has always had milk, he can probably tolerate small amounts until 1 year. It should not be his primary source of food. However, many puppies quickly lose the ability to digest milk, so if Maverick is having any diarrhea, the milk would be the first thing I would stop. Best of luck to you and Maverick!
