My puppy's tooth fell out. Is it an adult tooth? What should I do?

So, my puppy sharp tooth fell out, and I'm concerned because it's his adult tooth(I think) what should I do?

I think this looks like a baby canine tooth, which would normally be falling out around this age. Usually the adult tooth is already partially growing in, so if you truly feel like this may have been an adult tooth you may want your vet to take a look.

    I would also expect this to be a permanent tooth at this age, but it's possible that this is a baby tooth and the eruption of the permanent tooth was delayed. It's difficult to tell if this was permanent from the picture, but I would be able to better tell if I could see it in-person. If it was a permanent tooth, then it was fractured at the root and the rest of the root would need to be removed in order to prevent infection. The best way to tell what happened is to take Gohan to the vet. They can take an x-ray of the tooth tell if what's happening. It will be good to take the tooth with you to the vet.
