Brought our dog out for a run 2 days ago and now she's walking funny, found a hard piece on one of her paw pads. It's like it's part of her pad but it differs in shape from her opposite paws pad. She let's me touch it and press it with no problem

Dogs can get corns on their pads. This is common in greyhounds but can happen in any breed. They can cause discomfort when walking or running but not painful when touched. These can be cut back by your veterinarian so they don’t touch the ground. I recommend a veterinary exam to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. I think what you may be seeing is corn on the pad of Prince's foot. I would recommend that you have this evaluated by a vet. Corns can be painful and cause significant irritation. If the vet agrees it is a corn, they may recommend sedation or anesthesia to remove the corn.

I would agree with your vet that the bump looks most like a corn. Although there are other things that can pop up in this place, corns are very firm and almost look like they would shell out of the foot. They may or may not be painful to push on. For many dogs, this does not bother them but some dogs can have pain or limping and may need to have them removed.

It looks like they may be corns on the paw pads, they are very common in greyhounds. The only way to make them go away is to have a vet sedate her and remove them by shelling them out. They are very painful and the best treatment is removal. Here is a veterinary article that explains it in more detail: http://veterinarymedicine.dvm360.com/paw-pad-pain-review-corns-dogs
