Can I give my kitten Revolution flea medicine while it has giardia?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 6 days old | 2 lbs

My 9-week-old kitten has just started treatment for giardia. I'll also start him on Revolution for Kittens. Should I wait until the giardia is cleared before starting the anti-flea medication?

It is not necessary but probably best to wait until Giardia is completely resolved. REVOLUTION is safe for kittens as young as 8 weeks old so please make sure his age is appropriate before giving the product.
