My dog is a 15 year old miniature schnauzer and his lowering jaw started chattering after I woke him from sleeping and hasn’t stopped for 15 minutes. Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | neutered

Chattering can be due to stress, excitement or pain. Check the room temperature in case he is cold. Look in his mouth, if he allows, for signs of periodontal disease. This includes swelling, redness, bleeding, tartar buildup or loose teeth. If you spot any of these or if the chattering persists, have Ice examined by your veterinarian.
