Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 6 months and 10 days old
My new puppy is 6 months old and im not sure how much he should be getting fed. I’ve heard that you should let pups eat all they want until their older and then monitor how much they get. I’ve also heard they should only eat twice a day with a cup or a cup and a 1/2 of food measured out for them. What is the best way to feed him to make sure he isn’t over eating?

Gizmo is so cute!! Puppies should not be given as much food as they want, they should be given a daily allotment that is written on their bag of food. I would take his daily allotment and divide it into two equal portions for him to be fed once in the morning and once in the evening. This is the best way to feed him. I hope this helps, enjoy your adorable puppy!
