Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs
My 5 months old female cat mated my 1 year old male cat. A day after, she’s very lazy and not active and sleeping the entire time. I noticed a foul smell in the house and when I checked, she had diarrhea. And ever since I noticed it, she keeps on having diarrhea a lot, even when I play with her to make her move a little bit, she farts and ejects diarrhea. Is that normal?

No, diarrhea like that is not normal. I’m not sure that it has anything to do with the mating, but I would be concerned that she could get dehydrated quickly losing that much fluid. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. Try to take some stool sample with you to your appointment if possible. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
