What's wrong with my cat's ears after Revolution treatment for mites?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 years old | 17.8 lbs

He has had earmites before and was treated for it with revolution. Now he just has this. What exactly is this? It is in both ears. I cannot take him to my current vet at the moment because there is an investigation ongoing about them saying they gave animals shots when they did not and scamming the owners.

I assume you meant to upload a photo with this question. Unfortunately, one was not uploaded. Please try this again and post the question again. We will be able to help give you an idea of how serious the problem is, but cannot diagnose his condition and will likely recommend he sees a vet to get an accurate diagnosis. I'm disappointed to hear the news about your current vet. It may be best to have him seen by another vet if you feel the allegations are credible and you do not trust them. I hope that helps and all is well with Angel.
