What does it mean when cats knead people? My cat does it to me all the time. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 7 years and 10 months old | 10 lbs

Usually when cats knead they purr and it brings them contentment and security (they like it) which is likely linked to when they were nursing kittens. They tend to knead also before laying down, so they may be preparing their bed, blankets or lab to lay down. When they knead their own it is a sign of affection and love! I hope this helps!
