Why is my senior dog lethargic, has diarrhea, and pees a lot?

Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 11 years and 8 months old | 30 lbs

My nearly 13 yr old cocker spaniel has had diarrhoea today, excessive urinating and is very lethargic.. have just found what at first I thought was a tick but now I'm not sure..

It sounds like Button is pretty sick. She is showing several different symptoms and could have a number of things going on. In older dogs like her I worry about things such as diabetes, a urinary tract infection, and cancer. I would recommend taking her to your vet to be checked out as soon as possible. Your vet will most likely want to perform some lab work, possibly a urinalysis, and maybe even some x-rays. Hopefully nothing too serious is going with Button and your vet will be able to get to the bottom of it. Best of luck. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
