Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd - miniature | Male | 2 months and 16 days old | 8 lbs

Hi, we just as of yesterday got a new Toy Australian Shepard and he is limping. He was limping last night when we got home, was better this morning and now is limping again. What should we do?

Limping can be due to many different conditions and I put a link below to some information to help you identify how bad this is. Considering you just got him, I would contact the person that sold (assuming you bought him) you Jack and let them know of the issue. If you bought the pup, then they should take some responsibility for problems that arise within two weeks of purchase. However, they may not take any responsibility. Either way it's best if Jack gets evaluated by a veterinarian. They can help to identify the cause of this and ensure that the necessary treatment is given. Be careful not accept a diagnosis, or treatment plan given by a breeder or pet shop employee. These people often overestimate their level of knowledge and ability to diagnose and treat conditions. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/lameness-in-dogs I hope that helps and Jack gets better soon.
