HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Coco! We can not prescribe medications on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach as the laws require a vet to examine an animal in order to do so. I am glad that Coco is eating, I would start him on a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. This bland diet helps bind up the stool and usually helps the diarrhea. You can also start a dog probiotic, I like Purina Fortiflora. I would also deworm him with pyrantal pamoate or panacur. If the diarrhea started after starting the neopeptine and/or the liv52 I would stop them. I personally do not use human supplements in pets and urge caution in doing so. If the bland diet and probiotic doesn't help Coco needs to be examined by a Vet near you. I hope this helps and I wish Coco the very best!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Mucous indicated inflammation with in the colon. I would recommend having Coco examined by a Vet due to how young he is. Diarrhea in 5 week old puppies can be serious and cause decompensation and lead to dehydration and low blood sugar. He should be started on an antibiotic. At home you and start a bland diet of boiled chicken breast or hamburger mixed with rice. Also be sure he is properly dewormed. He can get his first vaccine at 7 weeks. Causes of diarrhea in puppies are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, food allergies or intolerance, dietary indiscretion (ate something gross), toxin ingestion, other infectious causes, new food/treat/human food. I hope this helps and I wish Coco the best!
