Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Female | spayed | 2 months and 22 days old | 8 lbs
I work a split shift, 6am-9am and 3pm-6pm. My 12 week old mini labradoodle puppy has been pooping in her crate when I’m gone for my morning shift. I feed her at 5am, 11am, and 6:30pm. I’m wondering what I can change about how I feed her in order to set her up for success and also keep from having to bathe her so frequently— she has dry skin.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would try to feed her a bit earlier than 5am, maybe 4:30. She likely has to defecate before you leave for work. I would try to take her for a 15 min walk right before you leave for work to get her to poop before you leave. She may be holding it and then going right after you leave. She should be able to hold her stool otherwise that short 4-5 hours. By 16 weeks only feed her twice daily. She will grow out of this. Another option is to have someone come in to walk her quickly around 7:30 am. I hope this helps and I wish you and Sara Mae the very best!
