Puppy vaccine schedule: 5-way, Bordetella, and intranasal boosters?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 month and 10 days old | 13 lbs

I bought Kennel Jec-2 Intranasal vaccine for Parainfluenza-Bordetella vaccine and also bought Canine Spectra 5. Canine Spectra 5 contains Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 (CAV-2 cross protection CAV-1), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus Vaccine (MLV). Is it safe to give the 5 way vaccine at 7 weeks and then the Bordetella at 8 weeks? How often do I repeat the intranasal vaccine?

Yes, you can give the vaccines at your proposed schedule. The intranasal vaccine does not need to a booster and will only need to be given a year later depending on his risk. As always, it's best to have this done by your veterinarian to ensure it's given correctly and in order to avoid complications.
