My dog is sick, vomiting, shaking. No insurance. How to get vet care?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 8 years old | 80 lbs

Hi my female pit is shaking and breathing harder then usual. She was vomiting since the morning. I have no pet insurence. But i really want to take her to vet is there anything i can do ?

I am sorry to hear that Dynasty isn’t feeling well. Pet insurance can be helpful, but most people don’t have it. I would encourage you to call your local emergency veterinarian and get prices for an examination and possibly blood work and X-rays. This way you are prepared for about how much it Might cost to find out what may be wrong. Any older unspayed female is a concern for a pyometra, which is a pus filled infected uterus, but certainly there are other possible causes. From there the veterinarian can discuss what they would recommend. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
