My dog has a skin tag on her nipple. Is this normal or concerning?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 48 lbs

My dog's nipple as a thing growing from the hole which looks a skin tag? Can skin tags grow from the hole like this?

Hello. Skin tags are very common & often develop on mammary tissue. Just watch this & if it enlarges, bleeds or causes any discomfort for your pet, please consider seeing your vet for possible removal. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

    Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The first picture looks like a skin tag, which is benign. The nipple is likely normal but it could be slightly swollen from trauma, scratching or something else and will hopefully return to normal soon. To me it appears normal and nipples can look different from each other. I wish you the best!
