My cat is crying in pain and has something stuck in his anus. Help!

My cats has been acting weird the past couple days and today he was meowing very strangely and we saw that his anus looked like this. What do I need to do? Please help, He is in pain! Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail | Male | neutered | 9 years and 7 months old

He seems to have a big piece of poop stuck. That hurts a lot. Best take him to a vet tonight to remove it and check if there is an injury. You can gently try to put pressure to remove it yourself. put some gelatine or ointment around the inside of the anus to help it move. If you cannot move it fairly easily you will definitely need to take him to a petER tonight.
