My puppy suddenly pees everywhere and is incontinent. Is it medical?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Spanish Water Dog | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 10 days old | 15 lbs

My 4 month old male puppy (spanish water dog) was potty trained until this week. It seems that he has lost all his training. He pees everywhere and even on his bed. He seems to be incontinent too as he has peed on himself twice and doesn't seem to understand that he is laying on his own pool of pee. Is this some infection or something he has independent of the anaphylactic shock he had as a severe allergic reaction to Rabigen?

Poor Bo! I would be concerned there is a medical issue behind this behavior, such as a UTI. It’s not normal when a dog who is potty trained suddenly starts urinating all over the house, and that typically signifies a medical problem. Give his vet a call today to make him an appointment to be seen. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
