Is cow's milk safe for my puppy? Does it cause stomach upset or worms?

Can I give cow milk to my puppy of 2months age?. Will it lead to increased worm condition?

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! No, cow's milk should not be given to puppies or dogs as it can cause gastrointestinal upset. Feeding cow milk will not have any effect on intestinal worms. If you suspect your puppy has intestinal worms, your puppy will need to be dewormed with an the appropriate deworming medication from your veterinarian. I hope this helps!

    No, cows milk is generally not recommended as dogs do not have the necessary means to digest the fats and sugars and it commonly causes diarrhea. A balanced, large breed puppy food should not need any additional supplementation and is designed to be fed with water
