My cat has severe DL-methionine side effects. What should I do?

Hi,recently vet prescribed to my cat DL-methionine for phosphate crystals,after a week of taking he showed very heavy side effects,lethargy,fever,abdominal pain,weakness in his legs,dificult moving,i called the vet,he said to wait more time,i called other vet,he said the prescribed dose is too much,so he is overdosed,but he didn't know how to treat him,i tried other,they didn't know too,please I need your help,i stopped the medicine since two days,but what else to do,nobody here knows what to do

I am so sorry for the delay in answering your question. I hope that Tikvichko is feeling better at this time. If he is not, you should seek a veterinary emergency center. He may need IV fluids and treatment for acidosis. (If his blood has become acidic from the medication) You can also call animal poison control, as they would have the best information regarding overdosages of specific drugs.
