Why is my mini dachshund suddenly lethargic, whimpering, and in pain?

My 11lb mini-dachshund is suddenly extremely lethargic. She ate food and water earlier today but now she doesn't want anything. She's recovering from a case of diarrhea and had a paw injury on Saturday so she has been on fairly strict crate rest and upwardly improving until today. While laying down she's suddenly whimpered twice. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund miniature | Female | unspayed | 11 lbs

Poor Bella! If she has a previous paw injury, it could be that it's hurting her again leading to the extreme lethargy. Whimpering would also be another cause of pain. She's also a dachshund, and they are a breed that tends to have a problems with their back, and that could be another problem. Keep her on cage rest tonight, and if she is still acting this way in the morning, then I would take her into the vet for a check. I hope this helps!
