Why are my older cat's eyes bleeding and oozing with clots?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 lbs

My older cat has bleeding from the inner canthus of both eyes. It clots and I gently wipe it away but it still oozes. it clots and builds up over time. What could it be

Your cat may have toothroot abscesses that broke through into the sinuses or are affecting her tear ducts. There may also be an inflammatory condition of the gland of the third eyelid. You need to make an appointment with your veterinarian for a hands-on exam.
